PDP candidate, Eyitayo Jegede won in his polling unit, Ward 2 Unit 9, in the ongoing Ondo governorship election.
He polled 184, while the All Progressives Congress candidate, Rotimi Akeredolu and the Alliance for Democracy candidate, Olusola Oke polled 77 and 32 respectiely.
