ANOTHER KIDNAPPED : Former Nigerian minister kidnapped

Nigeria’s former environment minister, Laurentia Mallam, has been kidnapped.

Mrs. Mallam and her husband, Pius, were kidnapped in Bwari/Jere axis along the Kaduna-Abuja expressway, Daily Trust newspapers reports.

The couple were kidnapped on Monday evening.

The  paper also quoted the Kaduna Police spokesperson, Aliyu Usman, as saying that while the couple were kidnapped, the driver was spared.

The minster’s kidnap occurs few days after Margaret, the wife of the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin, was kidnapped.
