Mavins act, Korede Bello, has dispelled rumours about his possible exit from the music imprint, after his contract expires.
The “God Win” singer revealed that despite nearing the expiration of his contract with Mavin record, he will go in for a renewal.
“It is somewhat foreknowledge as part of the Mavin 2.0 trio, Reekado Banks and Di’ja all signed a 3 year contract back in February 2014. Of course I will renew, Mavin is like a family to me,” he said.
He opened up on his forthcoming album, “If you’re going by that, it’s not just a year deal, it’s album deals. That’s to tell you that what we’re operating on is not just what people think it is. That I haven’t released an album in three years doesn’t mean that I’ll leave,”
Reaffirming he is still very much under the label, he said “I’m definitely still under Mavin Records. A lot of songs on my album will be produced by Don Jazzy, Altims, Baby Fresh. So it’s a Mavin Records’ project.”. He however refused to state any release date for his debut album.
